Scalable 4 x 10 Gb/s Long-Wavelength APD Array
Top illuminated, high-speed avalanche photodiode array with tapered transmission lines and large optical apertures. The scalable 1 x 4 array is designed such that the photodiode pitch of 250 μm is maintained across the border of the 1 x 4 basic cell. The photodiode pitch of 250 μm is suitable for coupling to fiber ribbon cables. The basic cell can be repeated n times to provide scalable arrays of 4, 8, 12 or more individual photodiode channels.
